A NEW FARM BILL

Congress was bought, the Senate was paid, America’s farmers & ranchers just got Ken-Layed. The packers are big, the packers are mean,

They just bought themselves a political machine. Combest and Stenholm and even Jerry Moran, Sold their souls for cold cash, eliminating the packer feeding ban.

The Chicago Board of Trade is a mighty handy place To rob us old ranchers without even saying grace. When the packers say sell, the funds join in, Limit downs a situation, where no cattle feeder can win. Gamblers sell cattle they don’t own, they don’t even exist- Our ranchers only salvation will be to delist.

They keep selling short, till they wreck ranchers true price. They’re evil as sin, just like blood sucking lice. Packers bought em some professors, even the NCBA Said you better sing our song or we’ll cut short your pay. NCBA got excited, they pulled out the stops, Flew a huge delegation to Washington to stand as packer props. Scared hell out of their members, said prices will go down. Looks like NCBA’s Wythe Willey is the new packers’ clown. Some join the packers’ monopoly thru ignorance or greed- Makes you kinda wonder if they’ve been smoking that wild flowering weed. Some folks don’t understand, They even deny the price depressing effects of captive supply. The entire farm bill is a humiliating joke. Designed just for the packers and let true ranchers go broke. We’ll grow cheaper corn, we’ll grow cheaper feed Cause nothing will quench monopolistic corporate greed. Farmland once thought it was one of the four big boys, Not it can’t understand why the other three are stealing its toys.

There’s no such thing as true global free trade, It’s government protection allowing big pirates to raid. The stakes are enormous while the players are mostly small. With Congressional assistance the packers want to own it all. A mad race to corporate dictatorship and congress caved in, They just sold out freedom loving Americans To ensure their next election win.
